The official Action Day for Water of the COP22, organized in Marrakech on past 9 November as part of the Global Climate Action Agenda (GCAA), drew the attention of governments and of all the partners concerned by the strategic importance of water in the context of climate change and proposed tangible solutions for the implementation of the Paris Agreement.
The Global Alliances for Water and Climate is structured around the four following Alliances :
1 - The "Paris Pact" Alliance on water and Climate adaptation in the basins of rivers, lakes and aquifers
2 - The Business Alliance for Water and Climate change (BAFWAC)
3 - The Alliance of Megacities for Water and Climate Change
4 - The Global Clean Water Desalination Alliance
